Conference and Function Venue at the George Lodge Conference Centre

The look is sleek and contemporary, and is well-suited to a variety of events. The venue can be set up to your requirements in a variety of styles. It is ideal for training, computer training (supply own computers), workshops, meeting cocktail evenings, business breakfasts and much more. It consists of a private working area for the facilitator, relaxing couches where the delegates can unwind in break times.

Over the last few months we have done a few different functions compare to what we normally do.  We pride ourselves on the precision and detail we put into every event.  We have also started to build up our own “stock room” with various cutlery, crockery, decor and other items used for events so that we can give the client the opportunity to choose the items that they want to use for their event.  We want to share a few of the events so that you can see what we can offer you either in a private capacity or as a company.

Corporate Accommodation

  • Free uncapped wifi in all the areas in the lodge
  • Complimentary breakfast with accommodation
  • Four types of rooms and budgets to choose from namely :
    • Standard Room – with bar fridge from R650.00
    • Standard Plus – with bar fridge and microwave – ideal for the longer staying client from R750.00
    • Family Room – slightly larger than the standard rooms – with double beds and can take more than 2 people – especially nice for families with kids – also with microwave and fridge R750.00
    • Self Catering Room – this room is equipped with a kitchenette in the room – ideal for holidays or for long staying corporate clients R960.00
  • These rates are all for single rooms – one person per room.
  • All these rooms are equipped with desks so that the client’s can work if they want to.

GROUP BOOKINGS

  • We do group bookings – at tailor made packages with dinner if required – the lodge can accommodate 58 people depending on sleeping arrangements.

Leisure Traveller or Bleisure Travel

The trend of bleisure travelling are becoming more and more a trend where the wife or husband brings his spouse with on the business trip and make a mini holiday of their trip.

We have various specials on a ongoing basis, herewith the two that we have currently running.

  • SPOUSE ON THE HOUSE – FOR WEEKENDS
    • Only one person pays for the accommodation and the partner stays for free – this offer is valid over weekends and requires a two night stay – breakfast included.  R750.00 pn only.
  • KIDS UNDER 12 for free
    • For the duration of the school holidays until the 24th of July kids under 12 will stay absolutely free.
