BUSINESS TRAVEL AT REDUCED RATES- SAFETY FIRST

 

We are excited to announce that the George Lodge International will be welcoming guests back from the 8th of June 2020.

Due to Covid-19 we will no longer be serving meals (including breakfast) at the property for the safety of our guests and staff.

We will be offering reduced accommodation rates in order for the guests to order food through MrD or the restaurants in walking distance.

Our rates are as follows:

Single: R680.00

Sharing: R980.00

Accommodation will only be allowed for business travel. We are following strict guidelines set out by the Tourism Business Council of South Africa.

We will be implementing a virtual reception to further reduce the contact between staff and guests. This will mean guests are able to check in themselves. Payments will be taken before arrival via EFT or a Credit Card link.

Please take note of the following changes:

No meals served at the property (subject to change in the future)

No leisure travel will be allowed – all guests are required to provide proof of work travel (letter from work)

Strictly pre-payment, payment options are EFT or via Credit Card link

All guests are required to complete a declaration of health and travel prior to check-in

Covid-19 safety procedures in place for the safety of our guests and our staff:

· All quests and staff are required to wear masks/face shields on the property

· Social distancing of 1.5 meters is encouraged

· Guests and staff will be screened daily

· Rooms will be cleaned before and after each visit

· Rooms will not be attended every day for the safety of our guests and staff

· Each room will be closed out for 3 days between bookings, this will also assist

in ensuring rooms are decontaminated for the next check-in.
