Things to do in George and on the Garden Route
Here is a list of acitivities in the Garden Route as well as a list of Restaurants; our shuttle service is available at an additional fee to take you to all these places. We also offer a service to make your reservations with any of these places.
For day excursion we can arrange all the activities for you and make payment to all the appropriate places and you just pay us the all inclusive amount. If you wish to have a picnic basket for the day this can be arranged at an additional cost, please discuss this with our receptionist.
For a great day out, Adventure Land is a water park with a difference - set in a beautiful natural setting on a 24 hectare estate. The park offers seven different rides, from the all time favourite super tube to the two-lane speed racer, free fall slide, and raging rapid tube slide. There is also a mini super tube and a kiddies slide and pool for little ones.
Visitors can bring along their own picnics (no alcohol or glass bottles), and there is a take-away kiosk. Relax on the big grassy lawns or on one of the wooden decks.
Centrally situated off the N2 between Plettenberg Bay and Knysna.
Open Monday to Sunday from 10am to 5pm. Closed during winter month (May to August). Entry is R80 per person for the day, with children under 3 free.

Bloukrans Bridge Bungee
The Bloukrans Bungy is the world's highest(216 Meter) commercial bungy bridge. It is also the highest commercial natural bungy jump in the world. The Bloukrans Bridge located on the Garden Route in South Africa. It spans the river Bloukrans in Tsitsikamma National Park.The jump is pure adrenaline.

Cango Caves Tour
The Cango Caves are a series of dripstone caverns that open into vast halls of towering stalagmite formations with names like 'the bridal couple', 'glass flower fantasy', 'weird cango candle' and 'the hanging shawl'.

Close Encounter Whale Watching Cruise
Our Premium, Close Encounter cruises are conducted on our permitted whale watching vessel "Fatboy". This permit allows our licenced boat to approach whales up to 50 metres.

Feather Bed Company - Knysna

Jukani Wildlife Ranch & Care Centre (Plettenberg Bay)
Jukani Wildlife Sanctuary is home to the big cats such as lions, cheetahs, Bengal tigers, leopard (spotted and black), jaguar, pumas, caracal and serval cats and other wildlife species. Jukani Wildlife Sanctuary is the only facility of its kind on the Garden Route and guarantees an experience of a lifetime to our guest.

Knysna Heads Oyster Experience
The Knysna Heads Oyster Experience involves a cruise from Thesen Island Harbour and out over the main lagoon to the Knysna Heads. The heads, although impressive are dangerous to pass through and therefore make Knysna one of the most dangerous ports in the world! The guide on board the boat will point out various places of interest and pass on information about the Knysna Lagoon.

Knysna Sunset Cruise
The Knysna Sunset Cruise is a unique combination of the Knysna Heads Tour, the Oyster Farm Tour as well as a cruise on the stunning Knysna Lagoon. Included is a guided tour of the oyster beds (where you can get to know and taste the difference between wild and cultivated oysters) and the rest of the lagoon as the sun sets.

Visit Birds Of Eden In Plettenberg Bay
Birds of Eden in Plettenberg Bay is the world's largest single span aviary, just a few kilometres east of Plettenberg Bay in the Garden Route, where birds are free to fly free provides an incredible experience for those who visit, and a wonderful way of life for over 2000 previously caged birds. The completely unique venture of Birds of Eden is an enormous two hectare dome spanning a gorge filled with verdant, indigenous forest. Within it are some 100 species of incredible African birds, a few of them endangered, that provide anyone entering the dome with a literal experience of paradise.
